ENGINEERING.com Announces Collaboration Suite 2007; Now with Video Help for Distributed Engineering

New features increase functionality for Product Introduction Collaboration

December 5, 2006, Toronto, ON – ENGINEERING.com Inc. [TSXV:EGN] today released V.2007 of ENGINEERING.com Collaboration Suite, the premier hosted engineering collaboration solution for manufacturers. Complete with online project management, document management, web-conferencing and supplier management, ENGINEERING.com Collaboration Suite helps companies manage their new product introductions and other product development processes across distributed design and manufacturing teams.

”Video help is the big news in this release”, said John Hayes, President of ENGINEERING.com. “We have a lot of customers that work with remote partners and suppliers. They need to be able to introduce a collaboration environment quickly with minimal training for these external parties.”

The new video help module has over 100 short video files that demonstrate to users how to share files, see their tasks and participate in web conferences. These new features have been well received by existing users. Since the solution is hosted by ENGINEERING.com, none of the users have had to install any new software or upgrade their systems in any way.

Collaboration Suite is ideally suited to manufacturers who are engaged in an engineer-to-order business.
