An action items allows participants in a project to assign items to be people to be completed. These are different than tasks in that they are not usually items that are worthy having a task assigned, or they are unknown items that need occur during the process of completing a project that need to be dealt with.
Features :
Item View Summary
Within the project navigator or Quick Collaboration’s main window all participants can view the entire list of action items associated to a project. This view displays the owner, %complete, due date and type of action items.
Add Action item screen
Through a single form, users can create an action item. The user can include a description, owner, type, due date, priority, and notes.
Action Item Types
Company administrators can create a list of Action Item Types for the whole company to use. Types are used to better organize the Action item list.
Percent Complete Update
The owner of the action item can update the percentage complete as they finish the assignment. The color status bar allows for an easy visibility on items that have fallen behind schedule.
Notifications
An action item can be configured so that upon a change to the contents of the item the owner will be notified by email.
Export to Excel
Action items can be exported in Excel format.
Hide Completed Action Items
Completed action items can be hidden from display.
